HISTORY

In 2009, ReMix Recycling was founded as a recycling collector. Our mission was to provide "Recycling Convenience" and education while servicing commercial properties and communities in metropolitan Atlanta.

As a recycling collector, we realized (by the quality of recyclables in our own facility) that there was a critical gap that needed to be addressed, “Recycling Education”. We saw that our community did not know “what could be recycled” nor did they understand how their waste stream affected their environment, health and wallet.

As of 2012, ReMix Recycling evolved to serve our clients in Recycling Program Design, Program Implementation and Management, Education/Consulting. Based on our knowledge and expertise, we are versed in developing out of the box solutions that make recycling effortless and save our clients’ money, but also:

1) “Teach” them the importance of living sustainably

2) “Reach” them as they adopt sustainable practices

3) “Transform” our community as these practices are shifted from office to home
